EXPERIENCE RECORD:

As a Registered Land Surveyor and Engineering Technician, Mr. Steven M. Gabriele, R.L.S. has been responsible for surveying and various engineering applications, involving numerous residential, commercial, and municipal projects in the State of Connecticut. He brings to his position over 35 years of surveying experience in field operations, office calculations and research. In addition to his survey experience, Mr. Gabriele has considerable experience in design and layout of residential subdivisions, road design, commercial site design and design of subsurface sewage disposal systems. Mr. Gabriele began his survey career with L. T. Scott Smith Co. in Waterbury, CT where he was responsible for field operations in a wide range of projects including small and large-scale commercial developments, residential subdivisions, condominium developments and many large-scale redevelopment projects with the City of Waterbury Engineering Department and Parks Department. Mr. Gabriele received his survey license in 1981 and was employed by Stuart F. Somers, P.E., L.S., in Southbury, CT where he was involved in all aspects of surveying and engineering services for residential commercial and municipal projects. Some of the larger residential subdivisions include Pierce Colonial Acres, Turrill Brook Estates, High Ridge Estates, Hunters Ridge Estates, Fox Hollow, and Laurel Wood Estates in Southbury, CT.

Mr. Gabriele joined DYMAR in January 2001 where he plays an integral role in the survey services the company provides, as well as supports the Senior Engineering staff in facilitating projects, land use applications and environmental permitting. Recently, he helped process the Southbury Streetscape project through the CTDOT and the CTDEP by processing the Flood Management Certificate. Mr. Gabriele took the lead role in processing the land use application for the Montessori School in Washington, CT coordinating the design and team of consultants and in a design build contract. As the Chief of Survey with DYMAR, Mr. Gabriele is responsible for the contracting and managing of various land surveying assignments that serve the needs of municipalities, developers, utility companies, contractors and residential homeowners. These services have included boundary, zoning location and perimeter surveys, wetland surveys, topographic and utility surveys, flood elevation certificates, coastal area management surveys, construction layout and as-built surveys and preparation of documents for common interest communities.
